Noritz water heaters from NRC111 series (available on amazon.com) are designed for indoor installation, as the direct vent models (NRC111-DV), and outdoor installations (model NRC111-SV) for worry-free use.

In both cases, water heaters use either natural gas or propane (LP) gas for residential water heating mainly. These models are suitable for large homes and multiple applications due to their high water flow and BTU.

They can also be used in commercial applications such as offices, mechanic shops, small restaurants, schools...

Since NRC111 models are designed as condensing tankless water heaters, they use the residual heat from flue gases to pre-heat the cold incoming water, resulting in an increase in energy efficiency to over 90%.

Dual heat exchangers

Noritz NRC111 tankless water heaters are equipped with two heat exchangers. One is made of combination of stainless steel and copper for pre-heating water, while the other is made of commercial-grade copper and 25% thicker piping for efficient, durable, and reliable water heating.

Flexible vent installation

Thanks to condensing technology, Noritz NRC111-DV water heaters are working with the lower exhaust temperatures, so instead of using expensive stainless steel venting, they use cheaper PVC or CPVC vents that can run horizontally through the wall or vertically through the roof.

The outdoor models are ventless, so they do not require a venting system.

Fully modulating Eco-burner

Both NRC111-SV and DV models are using dual-flame burners for the maximum heating output and less temperature fluctuation. Thanks to modulation, the heater's computer system automatically adjusts the burner level according to the requirements.

They can work from as low as 16,000 BTU to the maximum of 199,900 BTU while providing hot water with a temperature ranging from 100 F to a peak of 180 F.

On the other side, the minimum water flow is, as found on other Noritz models, 0.5 GPM, while the maximum water flow of 11.1 gallons per minute is one of the highest.

Connecting Noritz models

The Quick Connect cable allows two identical Noritz NRC111 water heaters to provide twice the hot water capacity of one unit. For even more power and water flow, a multi-system can be used, as up to 24 units can be linked and operated by a single controller.

Worry-free ignition

As with other Noritz tankless water heaters, NRC111 models are not using the pilot light but direct electronic ignition that automatically lights the burner for reliable and easy use.

Versatility

Noritz condensing water heaters are not used for heating the potable water only, but for space heating also. These units have a combi-system set up, which ensures versatility.

Remote control

The remote control is straightforward but functional. The digital display shows the temperature and error codes, which flashes when the error occurs.

Other commands include the setting and ON-OFF buttons, indicators, and flow meter alarm set button. With the remote thermostat, users can accurately set the temperature from 100 to 140 F.

Self-diagnostic system for easy troubleshooting

The self-diagnostic onboard computer system knows when something is wrong with your water heater and will show the error codes such as 11, 29, 90, 92, 99 on the remote control display, allowing easier diagnostics and troubleshooting.
